  CBS NEWS IS GOING TO SHOW THE JWs

  I thought the CBS news dealt with this in a very balanced way.

  I hate any sort of extreme bashing whoever it's against because that only gets those that agree with it to agree even more and those that don't agree to have an excuse to agree even less. [does that make sense, I think so?].

  Anyway, it was a big thing that the WTBTS admitted it had a problem. This should bring a lot of the JW's who actually saw it down to earth regarding their fairy tale, story telling organisation. JW's act like children and believe anything coming from the GB men, maybe this will wake them up a bit. I'm sure they've already come up with some sort of excuse - they always do, but this time it won't go away.

  I just hope the problem can be aired at a more suitable time, so people are aware of what's going on and can be protective of their children knowing the situation with paedophiles that exists amongst Jehovah's Witnesses.

  i have been researching charles t russell.

  i'm just getting a bit disatisfied of hearsay one way or another.

  i have basically found out that the chances of him being a freemason are divided by a lot of confusion.

  I feel good!

  over the last few days i've felt a bit mixed up.

  i wrote my story for dansk's campaign and it brought a lot of my jw experience back again.

  i also talked to my parents about it last night, about everything i learned so its been quite a storm in my familys wbts little teacup.

  I wrote my story for dansk's campaign and it brought a lot of my JW experience back again. I also talked to my parents about it last night, about everything I learned so it’s been quite a storm in my family’s WBTS little teacup.

  But today I feel great! I feel like a big weight’s been taken off my shoulders. I feel I’m going from strength to strength. No longer do these small-minded people have a serious impact on my life. And I look forward to the day when it disappears completely and I mean, completely.

  Does anyone miss those tuneful 'kingdom melodies' ?

  is there anyone out there who cannot bear those appalling kingdom melodies we had to sing ?

  i never liked them one bit, did you ?

  so wonderful to hear proper hymns (not that i'm a churchgoer) but at least they have some fantastic music.

  But the most horrible part about the songs for me, was the fact that my pioneer friend insisted of practising the songs before the meeting! Aaaargh, it was bad enough I had to pre-study the watchtower, but then having to sing the songs as well, that was too much.

  Gowd! That's truelly terrible!

  How could you ever forgive the borg for that?

  By the way, does anyone remember that song that changed totally in rhythm and went from low in pitch to really high. Now that was feckin' funny. I think the start of it went 'Man lives in fear, blah blahdy blah'.

  Thanks for the advice, gumby it's made me think.

  When I talked about 'educating' dubs, I didn't mean going out of my way to do it but just so that I could refute petty nuances from any dubs I might come across, also so I can help people here. The fact is when someone knows what there talking about it makes people think cos it's fact not just half truths and emotion.

  THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JESUS' TEACHINGS & PAUL'S

  has anyone noticed that alot of paul's ideas that are part of the scriptures contrast directly with jesus'??

  paul said about fornicators, idolaters, etc.

  that they should be booted out of the congregation and should be "treated as a person of the nation, or a tax collector" and that no one should "even say a greeting to him.

  If you really believe in Jesus and 'Jah' I would be very careful at what you say. You claim to represent Jah himself. Do you think you are any less reprehensible than anybody mentioned in the bible just because what you say hasn't been written down in a holy book.

  If you’re not careful you might feel the sword of Jah you claim to represent entering your ass.
